the internet of everythingIn this article, I will talk about a whole new meaning for “The Internet of Everything.” Here’s a shout out to Dr. Daliah for finding this amazing new technology which attaches to a condom and measures various sexual performance parameters during genuine sexual activities. There is quite a bit of information posted about this “smart device.”

What parameters will i.Con are automatically recorded:

  • Calories burnt during sexual intercourse
  • Speed of thrusts
  • Total number of thrusts
  • Frequency of sessions
  • Total duration of sessions
  • Average velocity of thrusts
  • Girth measurement
  • Different positions used (currently BETA testing – will have more info in a release coming soon)
  • Average skin temperature

After each event the data can be downloaded to a Bluetooth compatible device and then the data is automatically erased and ready to go again…quicker than anyone’s latency time anyway!

Some questions that were not answered on this webpage that come to my mind:

Are they compiling a database of all users so that comparisons, such as girth, can be compared? Will they be selling subscriptions to the data for potential sexual partners so the subscribers can be ‘informed consumers’ instead of ‘flying blind’?

Is there any danger to utilizing the device WHILE it is still recharging via USB? To the contrary, can utilizing this while ‘plugged in’ enhance the sexual experience for one or both participants?

For someone who has ‘strayed’ from a long-term relationship, can the device be utilized in a way similar to a person on house arrest? They are required to wear it all the time, an alarm will go off if they remove it without authorization, OR if activity is detected at a time when the partner who had been cheated on is not present?

I could go on and on and I think I better stop here and not even bring up the potential suggestion that they could partner with GoPro. Enough said. Dr. Newman is a practicing Las Vegas urologist.
